Sean Hannity's Mission

Over the past several months I have been tuning into the Sean Hannity show. Sean Hannity's conservative talk show is second to the popular Rush Limbaugh's early morning conservative show. I guess you could say that Levin is third. But who really cares about Levin anyway. He is very nerdy and comes on real late at night. He pretty much will rehash what Sean delivers earlier in the day. Sean show is after Rush's early show and I guess you could call Levin the clean up man.

I listen to the Hannity show because he does cover updated and current political news. Hannity will also deal with other breaking news from time to time and make his stance but for the most part he likes do keep the political arena brewing. He is the pilot light that keeps the flame of rhetoric burning.

As you may know, Sean is a self proclaimed conservative. I suppose he may at one time identified himself as a republican but due to their low approval rating he now just calls himself a conservative. In his mind, the republicans just are not running the country well. He pretty much bashes the government all the time. The only good thing Hannity says about our government is with regards to our military. I guess he likes this branch of protection because it keeps his house, his big cars and his way of living protected from the outside.

Sean is very arrogant and for some reason I just get the feeling that he believes everybody else is just mission the point. That is, except his fellow talk show hosts or perhaps some of his far right conservative pals. I also believe that he has a chip on his shoulder and loves to toot his own horn. I guess that is what happens when you have a talk show where callers are screened to the point that most people calling are going to tell you how great you are.

At times I admit that I may agree with his point of view but my biggest complaint about him is with his attitude and the way he treats his callers. If somebody is making a good point he is quick to get them off, especially when they differ from his view. Very seldom do I see him admit that his point is either invalid or not relevant. He also likes to take an issue that makes the democrats or liberals look bad and run it into the ground. I have never heard somebody just beat an issue like Sean Hannity does. It seems like his whole purpose in life is to tear down the democrats.

I usually listen to his show for about an hour. Of course, I only listen to it in the car coming home. I could not stomach his nonsense in my house. However, In that time I get a overall idea of what issue he is pursuing. His callers are carefully screened and I think they are told to call him, "a great American." And for the record, this is very corny.

What has Sean done that makes him a great American? And can it be said that aren't most all of us are great Americans? What sets him apart? He kept beating Hillary Clinton and her claim to being uniquely qualified as a candidate. His comments were, what makes her uniquely qualified? Well I have to ask what makes Sean Hannity qualified to be a "great American?" By the way, just so you know, I am not a democrat. I am not a Hillary fan. I have both liberal and conservative views. That is where I stand.

In this blog I just want to deal with what nonsense Sean is pushing. Most everyday he is saying something that is just twisted or out of context. His main goal is to keep the controversies going so he can continue to push all his sponsors. And I find it sickening just how much time he actually spends doing this. I really don't think he is all that sincere and I just get the feeling that he knows that to succeed he must push ridiculous topics and pounds absurd subjects.I hope you participate and perhaps truth and common sense will be delivered.....
